Using the ancient teachings and symbols of eastern energy healing, blended with the shamanic teachings of the Native Americas, this Reiki treatment promotes health on all levels. The purpose of reiki is to facilitate balance: emotional, mental, physical and spiritual; by facilitating universal energies to enter the client’s systems and alter their vibration. All energy bodies, lines and centres are realigned in accordance with your unique health blueprint, held within the mystery of the ancient wisdoms and your own DNA. 

Each unique session will include the use of the reiki symbols, energy healing and re-balancing and may also include shamanic practices such as extractions, soul retrieval, sound vibration healing and others.

Reiki Attunement

Shamanic Reiki I

There are three ‘rites of passage’ along the path of Reiki and attunements are given by a teacher at these junctures.

An attunement consist of the reiki teacher introducing the reiki symbols into the auric field of the initiate in order to ‘cleanse’ the energy centres and ‘tune’ the initiate in to the universal healing energy that is reiki. It can be likened to preparing an am radio to pick up FM frequencies!

There are 4 attunements at the Reiki I stage, 2 are done on the evening before the full days course in order to start the process and allow the body to slowly adjust to the new energies. The final 2 are given on the day.

Reiki I is all about YOU, heightening your senses, focussing your INTENTION and ATTENTION, healing yourself and sharing with friends and family. You also learn about the Mayan Medicine wheel and how to use the wisdom of the elements and 6 directions to find balance in yourself and show you the way forward out of any situation.

With the introduction of the shamanic principle of the ‘hollow bamboo’, the basic hand positions for self-healing and healing of others are also taught at this level. Practice of the energy flowing through you means that you get a chance to both give and experience reiki healing on the day.

Continued support is always available to my reiki family and reiki shares are occasionally organised so we have a chance to get together and share experiences.

Shamanic Reiki II

Reiki II is a 1 day course and continues the ‘clearing’ and ‘retuning’ of the energetic systems that began at level I. It involves 2 attunements and as it works on the solar plexus and sacral chakras it is concerned with expansion, reverence, your relationship with yourself and others, distance healing, trust, presence, integrity and the ability to share.

 At this level, initiates are given 3 of the main reiki symbols to learn and practice, allowing them to send absentee healing through time and space, increase the voltage of the healing energy being channelled and heal the emotional body increasing compassion, integrity and communication.

 We also explore the shamanic principle of oneness as we enter a space of no time and begin to get a feel for the universal field of unconditional love that reiki emerges from. There are no boundaries at this level of awareness and healing can be sent to anyone, anywhere as long as the recipient is ready to receive. We can send healing to people, groups, animals, countries, the planet……….

 At Reiki II, initiates can practice at a professional level and charge a fee for treatments once insurance has been acquired.

Shamanic Reiki III

Reiki III is the teaching phase and requires just 1 attunement. As it deals primarily with the root chakra, healing begins the moment the decision is made to take this step.

Although at this level the initiate is known as a Reiki Master, the word master refers to an adept at healing, someone who has completed a process of initiation and reached a certain standard of competency, enough to pass on the learning you have experienced through your own self-healing, experiences and wisdom. It is in no way a reference to a hierarchy or an ego state. It is perfectly acceptable, in my school of teaching, for someone to take a level III attunement yet decide NOT to teach or attune others.

At this phase, you are able to dig up the roots of any dysfunction, conditioned pattern or negative habit as yet unresolved, and make changes to your ‘being’ at the core level. The connection to Reiki energy (universal, unconditional love) deepens and you are able to become a clearer channel for divine love and wisdom, and to more readily love and accept yourself and others exactly as you are.

The shamanic principles of ‘True Self Esteem’ i.e. knowing yourself to BE the field of divine love, are introduced and practiced so that you are firmly rooted in the only ‘reality’ there is!

A Reiki III initiate is given 2 more of the reiki symbols to learn and use, and taught how to attune others into this truly wonderful healing system.

You are now a Reiki Master Practitioner and are responsible for maintaining and spreading the integrity of the reiki name.
